Tells the tale of the organ and the organ department: István Ruppert

The monumental organ of the Liszt Academy becomes a chamber instrument at the farewell concert of the Organ Department: the audience will get stage seats and gather round the player before the manuals to be able to see more closely the instrument that saw better days in use. Besides three teachers of the department – István Ruppert, János Pálúr and László Fassang – students will play at this extraordinary time at this extraordinarily organized concert. Not only the masterpieces of the organ-literature will be heard, but the most memorable stories will be recalled by the performers, too.

Worthy farewell-bidding of the queen of the Academy’s instruments in the friendly circle of masters and students.

Entrance is free.
