András Csáki is the laureate of the prestigious international guitar competition “Michele Pittaluga”

The international guitar competition „Michele Pittaluga” was dedicated this year to the memory of Antonio Lauro. The three rounds were held between the 21st and 26th September in Alessandria, Italy. Placed third is Thomas Viloteau from France, second is the Korean Kyuhee Park. The winner gets the opportunity to record a CD with Naxos.

 

This is not the first victory for the renown Hungarian guitar player András Csáki, who boasts first places of competitions from Germany to Chile and Japan. Currently he is finishing his doctoral studies at the Liszt Academy of Music, where he also teaches besides being an active professor at the Bartók High School.
