The Head of the Wind Department Prof. Gusztáv Hőna was honoured with the most prestigious international award for trombone players. The International Trombone Association (ITA) awarded him in recognition of his distinguished career and in ackonwledgement of his impact on the world of trombone performance. The ITA AWARD 2010 was presented to him in Austin (Texas, US) in July, 2010.
