Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra: New Date for the Audition!
In order to give a possibility to our musicians who are performing in Japan to take part in the audition, the Board of the GMJO has decided to change the original date, thus the
hearing takes place in Budapest on
17th December!
Applicants can be only European citizens born between 1984 and 1994, application forms should be sent till 23rd November.
*exceptionally a pianist will be needed too!*
The Orchestra founded by Claudio Abbado is considered to be one of the finest youth orchestras of the world, giving a unique opportunity to young musicians originating from both Eastern and Western Europe to perform together. There are no payments, but the GMJO covers all costs of travel, accommodation and food.
This year’s two concert series are going to tour some of the following cities: Lisboa, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Wien, Madrid, Napoli, Bolzano, Frankfurt, Dresden and Graz.
