Second prize for István Juhász at the First Moscow Conservatory International Competition for Winds and Percussion, held between 1st and 7th November, 2009
István Juhász, currently finishing his studies with Prof. Gusztáv Hőna at the Liszt Academy of Music has won not just the second prize of this international competition in the category of Tenor Trombone, but has returned home with two special diplomas: for the best interpretation of the compulsory piece and for a performance on an alt trombone. Additionally, his piano accompanist, Dorottya Lőkős (also student of the Liszt Academy of Music) was awarded as the best accompanist of the category.
