Janka Jámbor and Ildikó Szabó receives prizes at the 4th David Popper International Cello Competition

The 4th David Popper International Cello Competition ended last Sunday in Várpalota. Two Liszt Academy is proud to announce the success of to students, Janka Jámbor and Ildikó Szabó, who received the first prize in their category.

 
Liszt virtually created the "masterclass", a concept that still flourishes today. He believed that young masters would find one another artistically stimulating and that the competitive climate would raise artistic standards. (Alan Walker)
