Standing ovation in Korea

The audience celebrated the symphony orchestra and the young talents of the Liszt Academy with a standing ovation in Korea. The yound musicians began a tour in the Far East last week, they visit the concert halls of various cities in Korea and Japan.

 

Soloists at the concerts were Ádám Banda (violin), István Várdai (cello), Gábor Farkas (piano), Harry Rylance (piano), they immediately gained the love and enthusiasm of the audience both in Daegu and in Seul.

 

„This tour means much more than a serial of successful concerts. What the 5000 people who came to the concerts experienced was the triumph of Hungarian music tradition, music training, performance and, first of all, musical talent”, summarised the conclusion of the concerts András Batta, the president of the Liszt Academy.
