Gyula Orendt brings three prizes, Mária Celeng wins a special prize at singing contest in Barcelona

The Liszt Academy is proud to announce that Gyula Orendt, a student of Professor Éva Marton, won three prizes at the XLVII International Singing Contest "Francisco Viñas" in Barcelona, which was held this January:

 

  • Special prize «Oratorio-Lied» to the best performer in the «Oratorio-Lied» classification.
  • Special prize  in memory of Max Klein and Madronita Andreu, offered by their daughters, to the best performer of Mozart.
  • Extraordinary prize, offered by the pianist Dalton Baldwin as a scholarship to attend the Vocal Interpretation Course, at the International Summer Academy in Nice, to a singer.


Mária Celeng, student of Profesor Julianna Pászthy, won the extraordinary prize as a scholarship to attend the Course of Classical German Lied, French Melodies and Lied Piano Accompaniment, in Barcelona, within the «Francisco Viñas» Musical Interpretation Courses to a young contestant.
